The coach is an AI assistant that answers questions about working with your specific teammates — grounded in their actual playbooks, not generic management advice.

What to ask it

Anything shaped like “how do I ___ with ___”:

• “How should I give Priya feedback about the missed deadline?”
• “I’m about to announce a re-org. How will Marcus take it?”
• “What’s a good way to recognise Sam for the launch?”
• “How do I onboard someone who’s the opposite of me?”

The coach reads the relevant playbooks and answers for those people — it knows Priya wants feedback in writing with time to digest, and its advice starts from there.

Who can use it

Everyone. Coaching isn’t a manager privilege — a teammate preparing for a tricky peer conversation gets the same help.

What it is and isn’t

• It’s advice, not a record. Conversations with the coach aren’t performance documentation and don’t appear anywhere in anyone’s profile.
• It’s not an evaluator. It won’t rate, rank or assess people, and it doesn’t have hidden information — it works from the same playbooks everyone can read.
• It’s AI, so treat it like a smart colleague’s suggestion: usually genuinely useful, occasionally off — yours to judge.
