Privacy & trust

A tool about how people work together only works if people trust it. So here’s the whole picture, plainly.

What Harmonic stores

  • Your account — name and work email.
  • Your questionnaire answers and the working-style profile derived from them (dimensions, archetype, the written playbook).
  • Recognition — shout-outs your colleagues wrote about you, and ones you wrote.
  • What you choose to add — interests, values, basic details, an optional birthday.
  • Check-ins you post to your team’s rhythm.

What Harmonic deliberately does not do

These aren’t just features we haven’t built — they’re categories we removed on purpose:

  • No psychological-safety scoring. We don’t survey your team’s psych-safety and hand managers a number.
  • No mood, sentiment or well-being measurement. Harmonic never asks how you’re feeling and never infers it.
  • No performance scores or ratings. Nothing in Harmonic grades anyone. The growth record is positive-only, by design.
  • No surveillance. No activity tracking, no hours, no message monitoring, no manager-only metrics about individuals.

Who sees what

  • Your playbook is visible to your teammates — that’s its purpose. It reads the same to your manager as to a peer; there is no hidden manager view.
  • Your growth record is yours and visible to you; the recognition in it was posted publicly to the team feed by its authors.
  • Admins manage membership and settings. They don’t gain access to private assessments of people, because none exist.

Deleting your data

To delete your account, or a whole workspace, contact us at the address in the privacy policy and we’ll action it. Choosing not to take the questionnaire is always available — nothing else in Harmonic forces it.
